Cashmere Blanc began with a question asked in a hotel by a lake, surrounded by forest: what does truly good sleep feel like?
The answer sent us back to something the family already had. A textile factory, and three generations of textile knowledge. But knowing how cloth is made is not the same as knowing which fibre deserves that work.
So we went looking, and we found families who have made cashmere for hundreds of years. For them the herd and the season are not a supply chain; they are a way of living. When we felt their Grade-A fibre, the question answered itself.
